CRM Simplified ("we", "our", "the platform") is a cloud-based business management software operated by Simplified Management Solutions, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect information when you use our platform at crmsimplified.in.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: Company name, name, email address, phone number provided during registration
• Business data: Customer records, prospect lists, employee details, attendance records, work orders and invoices that you enter into the platform
• Usage data: Login times, pages visited, actions performed — used for security and system improvement only
• Device data: IP address, browser type — for security and fraud prevention

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the CRM Simplified platform and all its features
• To send important service notifications (account alerts, system updates)

• To improve platform performance and fix issues
• We do NOT use your business data for advertising, profiling or any commercial purpose beyond operating your account

4. Data Isolation — Multi-Tenant Architecture

CRM Simplified is a multi-tenant platform. Each company account is completely isolated from all other accounts. No company can access, view or interact with data belonging to any other company. Your data is yours alone.

5. Data Storage & Security

• All data is stored on servers in India (Hostinger India infrastructure)
• Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes — never in plain text
• All connections use HTTPS encryption (SSL/TLS)
• Login attempts are monitored and accounts are locked after repeated failed attempts
• Regular database backups are maintained

6. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell, rent, share or transfer your data to any third party for any commercial purpose. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers or analytics companies. The only exception is legal obligations — if required by Indian law or court order, we may be required to disclose certain information.

7. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of the request. Contact sskjha2016@gmail.com to initiate deletion.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering and using CRM Simplified ("the platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms are governed by the laws of India.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Each company registers one Admin account. The Admin is responsible for all activity under that account including employee (User) accounts created
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You must immediately notify us of any unauthorised access at sskjha2016@gmail.com

3. Permitted Use

• CRM Simplified is licensed for business use by the registered company only
• You may not share your account access with organisations other than your own company
• You may not use the platform for any unlawful activity or to store illegal content
• You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy or replicate the platform
• You may not use the platform to send unsolicited communications (spam)

4. Your Data

You own all data you enter into the platform. We do not claim ownership of your business data. We process it only to provide you the service as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Service Availability

We aim for maximum uptime but do not guarantee 100% availability. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses arising from temporary unavailability.

6. Subscription & Payment

• Plans and pricing are as listed on the Pricing page
• Subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing period has commenced, except where required by law
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days prior notice
• Non-payment may result in account suspension

7. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting sskjha2016@gmail.com. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.

8. Limitation of Liability

CRM Simplified is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.

• All passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing — never stored in plain text, ever
• Login attempts are monitored — accounts are automatically locked after repeated failed attempts (30-minute lockout)
• All login attempts are logged with IP address and timestamp for audit purposes
• Session-based authentication — sessions expire on logout or timeout
• Role-based access control — each user sees only what their role permits

🌐 Data Transmission

• All data between your browser and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS (SSL/TLS)
• No sensitive data is transmitted in plain text at any point
• API endpoints are protected — only authenticated sessions can access data

🏢 Data Isolation

• Every company account is completely isolated from all other accounts
• All database queries include admin_id filtering — cross-account data access is architecturally impossible
• Super Admin (Simplified) can view account metadata for support but does not access your business records in normal operation

💾 Data Storage

• All data is stored on servers located in India (Hostinger India infrastructure)
• Regular automated database backups are maintained
• MySQL with utf8mb4 character set — supports all Indian language characters
• India Standard Time (IST / UTC+5:30) used throughout for all timestamps

• We do NOT sell your data to any third party
• We do NOT use your business data for advertising
• We do NOT share your data with analytics companies or data brokers
• We do NOT store payment card details — payments are handled externally

📋 Reporting a Security Issue
